Canada did push after conceding the second goal, but that was also a gamble, as Argentina had much more room to threaten Marsch's side. Things worsened for the Concacaf representatives as star player Davies had to be subbed in the 71st minute due an injury. Canada did have some chances late in the game, and one of them needed a good stopping from Martínez. But like it's been said, Canada did not take their chances against this opponent.

What contribues to the success of Argentina is their team spirits! Argentina's goalkeeper, Martínez , played a key role in the game and was praised by fans as the "father" of the team, while other players such as De Paul, Messi and Tapia were also highlighted. The strength and skill they displayed in the game attracted the attention of the audience.

Columbia vs. Uruguay 1:0 into Euro 2024 Final

On July 10th (EST), Colombia advanced to the final with a crucial goal from midfield star Lerma, defeating Uruguay 1-0 into the final. In the game, Colombia's attacking core James Rodríguez showed outstanding vision and set a new record of 6 assists. At the 51st minute, Lionel Messi scores his first goal of the tournament off an assist from Enzo Fernandez.    

Jefferson Lerma scored the only goal of the game in front of a fervent and overwhelmingly pro-Colombia crowd at Bank of America Stadium when he headed in a deep corner from James in the 39th minute. As the game drew to a close, Colombia's Diaz unfortunately suffered an injury and withdrew from the game in the 86th minute. Faced with a backward situation, Uruguay head coach Bielsa made a decisive substitution and attempted to launch a counterattack, but the team's efforts failed to change the score and ultimately lost 0-1, regretfully missing the final.

Colombia's victory on Wednesday means their unbeaten record has been extended to 28 games, which can be traced back to losing to Argentina in February 2022.

On JUL 14(EST), Argentina entered rarefied air Sunday with a thrilling 1-0 victory over Colombia in the Copa América final Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.  The match between Argentina VS Colombia is a tough game. Both teams did not score in the first half, and the score remains unchanged.

However, in the 36th minute, Messi broke through the bottom line continuously in the penalty area and was injured in the ankle by Arias, causing him to roll in pain on the field.  Unfortunately,  Messi was tearfully subbed off  from injury in the 64th minute, marking his last appearance in the Copa America at the age of 37, later Messi's teammates stepped up.

Lautaro Martinez did what Argentina fans hoped he would after his extra-time entry to the pitch, finally finding the back of the net to put Argentina up 1-0 with eight minutes left.      He then made sure to embrace Lionel Messi amid the celebration. The win makes Argentina the first-ever nation to win two consecutive Copa Américas and the World Cup in between them.  Messi's squad matches 2008-2012 Spain as the only country to make an equally dominant run. It also snaps a 28-game unbeaten streak for a very impressive Colombia squad.
